Landguard Fort ghost hunt 6th November 2015
Felixstowe, Suffolk

For this evening I chose one of the magazine rooms near to the Caponier told hold my séances.

We were joined in this room by two Second World War Army soldiers; Georgie and Frank, both aged in their early 20s and both wanted to have fun.

The first group didn’t get much in the way of physical movement, although we could hear lots of strange noises and footsteps.

The second group experienced lots of movement including pushing people against the walls and pulling them by their arms to the floor. Once again some strange noises were heard but no footsteps.

The third group all experienced their arms being moved and some people were swayed, pushed and twisted as well as being pulled to the floor. We have no idea if there were strange noises or not in this group since we were all laughing so much.

This was an excellent ghost hunt with everyone experiencing some form of paranormal activity either during the séances or one of the other sessions.

Upnor Castle – 31st October 2015 – Steve

Upnor Castle ghost hunt 31st October 2015
Rochester, Kent

upnor-castle

This was our highlight of the year, the Halloween event at a venue that doesn’t get investigated very often. The last ghost hunt held here was 6 years ago.

The event was slightly different than our usual ghost hunts because we could not let people explore the venue by themselves as the staff wanted to put the lights on every time someone wanted to move around the site. Therefore, we held 6 different sessions with all members of the GHE team holding a session.

My séance sessions were in the 2nd set of sessions in the Gatehouse. All session we had spirit join us and all sessions there was some movement from the spirit touching people, pushing them and raising their arms but the first group and the third group had the better paranormal experience with the majority of people touched, pushed and moved.

The spirits responsible were a Priest with the first group, who was not happy with us and tried to pull people apart to break the circle. When that didn’t work he pushed people to the floor and kept them there. Many guests could smell a fire or burning ropes. This was confirmed by the staff that this building had suffered from a fire in its past.

The other spirit who was with us was called Chris, he was an engineer aged in his late 50s and from 1810 period of time. He was a clock engineer and spent time repairing clocks. Whether he worked on the one at Upnor remains unanswered.

This was a great ghost hunt with all the guests having a paranormal encounter and lots of paranormal activity was experienced by all those who took part.

We hope to return to this venue in the near future

Marwell Hall ghost hunt 24th October 2015
Winchester, Hampshire

This was our fourth time at this venue and we were hoping that some of the previous paranormal occurrences would happen again to corroborate those occurrences. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen as expected although we did have an excellent night.

My séance circles were held downstairs in one of the rear facing rooms and we were joined by a spirit called Richard, a First World War soldier who was wearing puttees, he was 56 years old.

A female spirit called Alice aged in her 40s and a Nanny aged in her 20s were also present. There were also a number of spirit children in the room. This is unusual as I normally do not pick up children due to my dislike of them.

The first group experienced lots of movement, pushing, twisting and unusually we all ended up facing outward, when we started all facing inward. We had no idea how this happened. Towards the end of the session we all heard a child’s trumpet sound.

The second group also experienced lots of movement, but not to the same extent, this time it was just people being pushed and pulled whilst standing.

The third group however experienced lots of movement with everyone being touched, pushed, pulled or swayed as well as being pulled down to the floor by their arms and hands.

This was an excellent ghost hunt with lots of paranormal activity experienced by all those present.

Fort Borstal ghost hunt 13th November 2015
Rochester, Kent

fort-borstal-front

This event was a little different since there were a small amount of guests we did not spilt the group and instead everybody participated in every activity.

The first activity was a Human Pendulum, followed by a Table tilting and Ouija board session and finally my session; a séance

We were joined by a well-built chap who did not give his name. He was able to push and twist people as well as lift and move their arms on command. Some people were pushed and pulled to the floor and against the walls.

Fort Borstal – 30th October 2015 – Steve

Fort Borstal ghost hunt 30th October 2015
Rochester, Kent

fort-borstal-front

The séance sessions we were joined by a spirit called Antony (Tony) who was a Marine, aged in his early 30s and wore glasses for reading.

Tony was able to poke people and make some people including me get very hot during the séance. He was also able to move people, mostly by their arms, but also pushing and pulling the guests backwards. Many people experienced arm movement then a very heavy force would be applied to their shoulders which forced each person down towards the floor.

A number of times guests would be pushed and pulled towards the corners of the room and sometimes from opposite corners. This resulting in many people being tangled and twisted, sometime in painful or unusual positions that we could not figure out how to untangle ourselves. This was a very strange experience which wasn’t filmed on this particular night.

Odd smells were smelt by various people including myself, these smells were; pepper, sweet tobacco and other strange and unusual smells.

During a total darkness experiment people felt a spirit amongst us, some could see the outline of a person whilst others heard a young female voice, unfortunately whilst we heard the voice we couldn’t understand what was said.

This was an enjoyable ghost hunt with everyone experiencing paranormal activity.

Fort Borstal ghost hunt 17th October 2015
Rochester, Kent

fort-borstal-front

All guests participated in the séance sessions with me in the Counterscarp Galleries.

The first group experienced lots of movement and everyone’s hands touched the floor several times as well as being twisted.

The spirit that was responsible for this was a First World War soldier that I have met before at the fort called Captain Daniel Bedford.

At the end of the session we all heard music that sounded like it was coming from within the counterscarp gallery.

The second group also experienced gentle arm movement, pushing and gentle swaying sensations.

The third group had lots of activity which started with gentle pushing and pulling back and swaying. Jazz (guest) was reluctant to feel spirit after other guests touched his chest with their hands so I moved beside them and Jazz and Gaya were moved gently and twirled. Toward the end of the session Jazz got touched on the back, like a poke.

This was an excellent ghost hunt with everyone having a paranormal experience.

Gosport, Hampshire

Both groups during the séance sessions experienced movement, there was a mentally challenged spirit responsible for the movement, he did not give his name nor any information about his self.

The first group one of the female guests felt their leg being lifted whilst we were standing in the séance circle.

In the second group, we were all pushed or pulled to the floor by the spirit.

An enjoyable ghost hunt that we look forward to returning to in the New Year.

Charlton House – 20th November 2015 – Steve

Charlton House ghost hunt 20th November 2015
Greenwich, London

charlton-house

This was the last time that we had planned to visit Charlton House, the reason for this is simple, the start time of the event is too late and the Management won’t let us start earlier. We were hoping for a good ghost hunt and it was another excellent night.

All groups in the séance sessions felt the resident spirits move or touch them. Some of the movements especially with the third group were pulling us towards the floor, why this is so common we have no idea but there must be a reason otherwise spirit wouldn’t do it.

Have of the session I held a séance the half of the time I was introducing the guests to certain electronic gadgets and kit that we use. Many guests had useful communication via a spirit box including saying the guests’ names, which was scary to some of them.

This was an enjoyable ghost hunt and one in which all the guests had some form a paranormal encounter, either from using the gadgets or from the séances.

We would like to return but until the event times are earlier this will not be possible.

Landguard Fort – 30th January 2016 – Louise

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016

Landguard Fort ghost hunt 30th January 2016
Felixstowe, Suffolk

landguard-fort

Equipment: Tech and Gadgets

Started the sessions in an area with 3 adjoining rooms, in the first room a male and female energy came through on the ghost pro. The male went on to tell us that he was in his 30’s and worked at the fort as soldier. The female energy told us that she worked as a nurse looking after the soldiers when wounded. All of a sudden a cold sensation was felt on the face f one of the guests and he felt very light headed. As this occurred, the door that joined the two rooms slammed very loudly. We then moved into the second room where Sean (team) had set up the laser grid to face the door that slammed. All the guests said the witnessed the lights going out at the bottom of the door as if someone was standing in front of it.

The second session was amazing as we all gathered in the bigger room because as soon as we entered the room we could here the EDI machine (EMF, Thermometer and Geophone) going off. Also all the K2’s were going off in sequence throughout the whole session and the temperature dropped significantly. Asking spirit to slam the door again as it did in the first session, it did so and at the exact same time a guest got pushed forcefully from behind. Two guests the stood against the wall so they could see if anyone in anyway were slamming the door. As they stood against the wall both felt like they were being pulled into the wall, with one guest literally pinned against the wall unable to move.

In the third session there was very little activity, so it was decided that we all move to the communication room. Setting up the equipment all the K2’s went off in sequence but only going up to amber. Gareth (guest) decided with some other members of the group to go into one of the smaller rooms leading off from the gun room. The K2 immediately lit up to red and remained on red. It was then decided that they try and get one of the heavy information plaques to start to tip. Immediately upon asking spirit to join us and move the table it started to rock back and forth really forcefully slowly moving round the room in a circle. All the way through the session the K2 that I was holding, spirit constantly lit up taking the lights right up to red and holding them there.

Theatre Royal – 9th January 2016 – Steve

Theatre Royal ghost hunt 9th January 2016
Margate, Kent

theatre-royal

We always like returning to this theatre, lots of paranormal occurrences seem to happen to us and our guests.

All of my séance sessions we had varying degrees of spirit activity, mostly though the spirit were able to move us although it depended on the encouragement of the guests and whether they wished to be touched and moved by spirit.

We had a well-dressed gentleman, aged in his early 80s join us. He was from the 1890s and wore a top hat and tails.

There were odd noises and strange smells that the guests witnessed, some of the movements were on command, some not but all guests experienced paranormal activity during the séances, some people were pushed, pulled and swayed whilst others felt their arms move.

This was an enjoyable ghost hunt and we hope to return
